Level 5 Professional Diploma in Transpersonal Mental Health Care Counselling

Transpersonal Mental Health Care is a type of therapy that doesn’t focus on a person’s body and Mind alone, but on the health of a person’s spirit. This type of therapy emphasises a person’s spiritual path or spiritual enlightenment during their life. Many people are also working toward becoming more spiritually aware. The word “transpersonal” loosely translates to beyond the person or beyond the self. Nearly anyone can benefit from transpersonal therapy. However, some people may be more receptive to this type of therapy than others. For instance, people looking to explore their spiritual sides and those open to new experiences will often benefit more from transpersonal therapy.

Admission Requirements

Prior Qualifications:
Level 5 diplomas require a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, such as an Extended Diploma or a Level 4 qualification. Learners will need to have appropriate Level 2 English and Mathematics/Numeracy standards to access relevant resources and complete the unit tasks and assignments.

Work Experience:
A minimum of two years of work experience in a relevant field, such as health care, education, hospitality, or psychology, will be considered for adult learners.

Accreditation and Licensing
KOHRAC, The Kingdom of Hawai`i Royal Accreditation Commission, was born and is chartered to monitor curriculum and create an array of helpful monitoring tools and testing methods that fit into the Indigenous Way of Knowing and culture. KOHRAC accredits all our Courses.

To Validate expertise available for specific functions and provide a certificate of license. Our graduates will be provided with a license to operate as Professional Transpersonal Trauma Psychotherapy Practitioners. There is a compulsory 100 hours of work placement to qualify for the license Status.

Licensing with KOHRAC accomplishes the following:
• To provide validation of expertise available for specific functions.
• Registers the expertise with The Kingdom of Hawai`i so that the public can verify licensees.
• Provides a certificate of license.
• Provides an OCEANIA SEAL OF LICENSE.

Our graduates will be provided with a license to operate as Professional Transpersonal Mental Health Care Counselling Practitioners. There is a compulsory 100 hours of work placement to qualify for the license Status.
